VoiceNote

Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 June 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the VoiceNote app (“VoiceNote”, “the app”), provided by Milo Voorhout (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using VoiceNote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use VoiceNote on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. Your use of VoiceNote is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition to these Terms.

Your content

You own the recordings, transcripts, and notes you create with VoiceNote. They are stored on your device; we do not access them. You are responsible for the content you record and for complying with applicable laws — including obtaining consent before recording other people where required.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse VoiceNote, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to record others without the consent required by law in your jurisdiction.

Transcription and intelligence features

VoiceNote uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition and intelligence features to transcribe audio and generate titles, summaries, and answers. These features are automated and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them for decisions where errors could cause harm. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it.

No warranty

VoiceNote is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcripts and generated content will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of VoiceNote. Because VoiceNote stores your data only on your device, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, posted at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
